Aloha, I'm Sage, a lover of all things fiber art, yoga, and nature. I found my way to Hawaii in 2010 and found my way to macrame in 2019. I remember knotting my first square knots while my daughter was growing inside of me and sensing a deep knowing in those moments that my hands were meant for this.
I currently live in Kailua, a beautiful beach town on the windward side of Oahu. On most days you'll find me knotting and weaving in my home studio with my children playing alongside me.
From a very young age, I always had my hands in some type of craftwork, but it wasn’t until I found macramé that I deeply connected to the fiber arts. What began as a form of meditation and a balance to the chaos of motherhood, has become my greatest passion. I'm self-taught and find inspiration through my daily encounters with the windward shoreline, the mokulua islands and all of the beauty of Hawaii that surrounds me each day. I knot and weave with intention, allowing my hands to lead the creation of each piece with a general sense of where I'm headed. I aspire to bring the beauty and energy of the islands to life through my macramé and am deeply honored to share this journey with all of you.
With aloha and gratitude,
