What is Fiber Art?
Fiber Art is an art form that uses natural (or synthetic fibers) such as cotton, wool roving, and yarn to create functional or decorative art. You will be taught TWO forms of fiber art; macrame and weaving. Macrame is a technique that uses various types of knots to create a finished form such as a wall hanging, plant hanger, or home decor. Weaving is a technique that interlaces two pieces of fiber (traditionally with the use of a loom) to form a fabric, cloth, or a more a modern style of wall hanging.
