Join Sage as she facilitates a Mindful Art Retreat with Jess Price of Vevstol, along with Niki Negley, Yoga Instructor and owner of Hot Yoga by the Sea, for a day of punch needle play, yoga, food, and community. 

What is Punch Needle?

Punch needle is a type of fiber art that uses a specific needle-like tool to pierce loops of yarn through a woven piece of fabric. 

The workshop will cover the following:

• How to choose the right yarn and cloth
• How to stretch the cloth on the hoop evenly
• How to thread the punch Needle
• How to use the punch needle and easily stitch evenly
• How to create different textures
• How to use your own design for future projects

All materials will be provided. This workshop will make a small wall hanging about 7 inches round.
